Job Description

Laboratory Director – Kenai, AK

Join a mission-driven healthcare team in beautiful Kenai, Alaska, as a Laboratory Director. Lead clinical laboratory and radiology services while delivering integrated, holistic care to the Native Alaskan community.

Practice Setting

  • Lead laboratory and radiology services at a holistic wellness center offering integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and traditional healing practices
  • Collaborate with a culturally attuned team to provide care to Alaska Native and American Indian communities
  • Work in a facility that incorporates wellness kitchens, fitness amenities, and a broad range of specialty services within a unique whole-person care model

Schedule

  • Choose between a flexible schedule of five 8-hour days (M-F, 8 am – 5 pm) or four 10-hour shifts

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in one of the following science fields: Physical, Biology, Chemistry or related field, or a combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree.
  • One year of experience with direct oversight of a laboratory and three years of supervisory experience.
  • Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (NCA) or equivalent certification.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary negotiable based on experience, plus performance-based bonus
