Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Project Manager to lead the full project cycle for commercial roofing projects in the Greater Las Vegas area . This role is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects—from estimating and contract negotiation through project execution and closeout. The ideal candidate brings deep local market knowledge, experience with estimating, and proven success managing multiple complex roofing projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating & Pre-Construction:

• Prepare accurate bids and proposals using plans, specs, and site visits.

• Utilize Edge Estimating software or similar tools for bid generation (Edge experience preferred).

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing, negotiate competitive quotes.

• Review project drawings/specifications and prepare cost estimates per company protocols.

Project Management:

• Lead full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closeout.

• Manage job costs, budgets, manpower, scheduling, and materials.

• Oversee project tracking tools (ECAC, WIP), and ensure project remains on scope, schedule, and budget.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on-site.

• Monitor and manage quality control standards on all assigned projects.

Client & Team Communication:

• Serve as primary point of contact with clients from pre-construction through project completion.

• Maintain open communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Conduct and participate in pre-construction and closeout meetings.

• Maintain strong, long-term client relationships to support repeat business.

Administrative & Operational Support:

• Generate and manage POs, payroll approvals, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with the office manager for accounting, permitting, and purchasing.

• Maintain project records and document control throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimating/project management roles.

• Proven success in full-cycle project management.

• Solid knowledge of Greater Las Vegas construction market , codes, and permitting processes.

• Strong skills in estimating software —Edge Estimating preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).

• Experience with construction tools such as Bluebeam and project tracking systems.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

• Equivalent work experience in commercial roofing or construction will also be considered.
