About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead and optimize all aspects of our manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this individual will play a critical role in driving efficiency, quality, and performance across production, assembly, and shop floor functions.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a seasoned manufacturing professional with a strong background in electromechanical assembly, machining, and operational excellence within the aerospace or defense sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily manufacturing operations, including planning, production, and shop floor management.
• Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Implement and manage MRP/ERP systems to track production metrics and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, cost, and productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments including engineering, quality, and supply chain.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ABET Accredited).
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including managing plant/factory operations.
• Proven experience in electromechanical assembly and machining environments.
• Strong knowledge of metal manufacturing processes and motor components.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, inventory and warehouse management tools, and MS Office.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
