Position Overview:
We seek an experienced professional Grant Writer to join our team and help expand our services and secure retirement benefits and staff hiring funding. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with a proven track record of successfully securing grants for nonprofit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and write compelling grant proposals to secure retirement benefits and staff expansion funding.
Collaborate with program leaders and administrative staff to gather information and data for applications.
I'd like you to maintain a grants calendar to track deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
Cultivate relationships with funders to strengthen funding opportunities.
Prepare reports and documentation for grant compliance and renewals.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate W.A.F.A.A's mission and goals persuasively.
Familiarity with funding sources for social services, community development, and employee benefits.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
