For over a century, New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home (NMBCH) has been on a mission to offer hope to children and families in need. We are looking for dedicated married couples or single women to work as a team assigned by the administration to join us as Houseparents at our campuses in Portales, NM, and our soon-to-open location in Estancia, NM.

About Our Locations:

· Estancia, NM: A beautiful rural community, just an hour from Albuquerque, with ample mountains and outdoor spaces to explore.
Requirements:
· Committed Christians: Actively involved in a Southern Baptist Church.
· Passionate Caregivers: A strong calling to work with children from hard places.
· Team-Oriented: You will work with a team of committed staff who focus on providing a safe and loving home for our children.
· Valid driver’s licenses; ability to become certified to drive NMBCH vehicles.
· Pass a background check
· High school diploma or GED required
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended
Houseparent couples may have up to two dependent children (preferably over the age of 10) and one well-behaved pet (case-by-case basis).
