Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Job Overview:We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our client in supporting key HR functions and organizational goals. This hybrid, direct-hire position based in Jacksonville, FL (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) focuses on driving HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and play a pivotal role in shaping workplace culture, managing HR operations, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and best practices.
Compensation:- $110,000 annual salary, plus bonus opportunities
Work Schedule:- Monday to Friday, normal business hours
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:- Lead the planning, development, and execution of HR policies and programs
- Support executive leadership in developing HR strategies aligned with company objectives
- Oversee employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent management, and compliance
- Serve as the main point of contact for benefit programs and vendor relationships
- Conduct HR data analysis and reporting to guide decisions and track HR metrics
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Champion employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives
- Manage departmental budget and HR staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Facilitate professional development and training for HR team members
- Participate in safety efforts and co-chair the safety committee
Qualifications and Skills for the Human Resources Manager:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Proven experience managing benefits, payroll, and compliance programs
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS/talent management systems and data reporting
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Prior experience implementing new systems is a plus
