Title: Pharmacist

Location: Chesterfield, MO 63005 (Fully onsite)

Duration: 12 months contract

Schedule: Varies but would range from 7:40 am 6:00 pm Monday through Friday

Job Description:

Typical role in a day:

• Staff pharmacy and responsible for the final pharmacist verification stage of the prescription process.
• Making sure prescriptions were typed accurately and in compliance with company policies, state/federal regulations, and REMS program requirements.
• Making sure order was filled correctly by the technician and all items are accounted for in the order.
• Review shipping details to make sure medication is shipping appropriately based on storage of medication, going to correct location and assist with any excursion/stability assessments that arise during transit of the medication.
• Assist with processing order returns.
• Identify and report pharmacovigilance.
• Depending on shift would be responsible for opening and/or closing procedures for the pharmacy.
• Would also be taking limited phone calls to our team's hunt group.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.

Licensure

Missouri Pharmacist License Pharm D.

Must haves: 3+ years of mail order, retail or hospital pharmacy experience or Pharm D.

Nice to haves: specialty pharmacy or mail order experience.

Disqualifiers: any sort of restriction on pharmacy license.

Performance indicators: Productivity and quality metric. Measured in orders per hour.

Top 3 must-have hard skills
